People: Saxe-Coburn und Buchholz

Herzog Mikhail Johann von Hollerenschaut IV
Herzog Mikhail Johann von Hollerenschaut IV of Pfefferburg, ruler of the Grand Duchy of Saxe-Coburn und Buchholz and husband to Herzogin Genoveva Annalisa Elizabetha.

Herzogin Genoveva Annalisa Elizabetha
Herzogin Genoveva Annalisa Elizabetha of Groß Büste, loving wife of Herzog Mikhail Johann von Hollerenschaut.

Franz Gruber, cartographer
Herr Franz Gruber, cartographer to Herzog Mikhail and author of the Gazetteer of Saxe-Coburn und Buchholz. Formally a member of the Royal Cartographic Society of Iceland, Herr Gruber was expelled for his philosophy "Nahe an genug ist gut genug".

Hinterer Admiral Engelbrecht Dohnutz
The ducal navy is commanded by the renowned Hinterer Admiral Engelbrecht Dohnutz, famed for his mirth, his girth and his inherent bouyancy. Never one to shy away from a plate of pastries, Herr Dohnutz has eradicated scurvy within the navy by the cunning application of lemon meringe pie.

Generaloberst Hugo von Guus-Steppe
Generaloberst Hugo von Guus-Steppe, commander-in-chief of the Ducal forces. Famous for his "double refused flank" manoeuvre which has the appearance of a reluctance to commit to battle, when in fact it is a direct consequence of his inability to tell left from right and therefore issue orders which make any sense whatsoever.

François-Honoré Clipart
Painter in residence at the court of the Herzog Mikhail Johann. Infamous for his penchant for reproducing the style of other artists rather than developing his own. Clipart frequently explains this by proclaining "l'imitation est la forme la plus sincère de flatterie". His critics are less generous, referring to his body of work as nothing less than "couper et coller en masse".
